Ranking on Google in 2025 is about WAY more than keywords and backlinks.

Here are the 5 tactics I’m using right now to dominate rankings:

(Tested and proven across tons of client sites)

    1⃣ Brand Search Volume

The more people Google your name, the more Google trusts you.

    How to build it:

-Post job listings on free job boards. Applicants WILL Google your company.
-Outreach to roundup blogs to include your site.
-Run cheap engagement ads on the target country you’re trying to rank in
-Post on YouTube (this builds brand inquiry faster than any other medium.)

Yah be careful with the “posting jobs” thing because posting fake jobs id against the law in many places like California.

I think if your brand name is not your #1 source of SERP clicks in Google GSC then you probably have a problem. Even for local businesses that might not be very well known, most of their top source of keyword clicks is their own brand name. At least in my experience working with a lot of local business owners, even the small ones this is almost always true!
