Can we alter the ‘page rules’ in CloudFlare or what are they?

ANSWER: We do not allow page rules to be changed. On the free version of CloudFlare accounts (which is most of our clients) there are only 3 page rules allowed, which we reserve for the purpose of 301 redirects of the domain syntax, i.e. HTTP, HTTPS, www, and non-www redirects to ensure no SEO penalties, proper site loading and performance, and the ultimate in security.

If your team requires having access to their own DNS management, we do support that relationship for our Enterprise level clients. In any regard, we do still require all clients to be behind CloudFlare, and strongly discourage using page rules to “disable” aspects of CloudFlare’s security and performance features.
